As a part of an extensive master plan for the East Segment of MHA Nation, the White Shield Clinic is the first of its kind in the community. The facility houses a pharmacy, exam rooms for primary care, dental, optical, pediatrics, and women’s health, an radiology, behavioral health offices, physical therapy space, and a lab services, administrative offices, and a drive-through ambulance bay. The interior of this clinic is designed around the colors found in the traditional medicine wheel. The lobby incorporates these colors through landscape murals depicting a sunrise and a sunset in spring and fall respectively. This approach symbolically represents healing and the circle of life.
