LIVE FIT SPORT & WELLNESS CENTER | FAIRMONT, MN

Live Fit Sport and Wellness Center was a tenant build-out project in a once abandoned big-box store. The new 46,800 s.f. fitness facility includes an indoor walking track, an indoor turf area, basketball hoops, private classrooms and training areas, golf simulators, saunas, offices, staff lounge,  chiropractic clinic, and massage spaces. The facility also includes a 6,000 s.f. gymnastics gym with its own private entrance.

The renovation included many necessary upgrades in order to bring the facility up to the current building codes and to meet the open concept desired by the new tenant. Brunton Architects & Engineers along with their team worked on designing and detailing steel column and beam modifications to provide clearance requirements, recessed areas in the concrete floor structure to allow for adequate ceiling heights in the gymnastics area, extensive flooring repairs and remediation, and upgrading the existing mechanical systems to accommodate the change in occupancy of the structure. By recommissioning this once abandoned building we were able to repurpose it to allow the facility to serve the community for years to come.
