After assessing their existing 50-year-old facility, the City of Cokato determined that their facilities were inadequate for the needs of the community and no longer provided the space or height needed for their emergency equipment. Brunton Architects & Engineers was brought on to design a new facility that would address these issues and would be more economical to operate. The new 14,700 s.f. facility includes eight apparatus bays and two ambulance bays. Amenity spaces include a meeting room with kitchen, day room, sleep rooms, office space, SCBA, and storage.
