Within the 19,400 square-foot space, the central cluster of medical staff workstations allows for high-efficiency charting and exam visits due to the proximity of the reception, nurse stations, and consult rooms. The axial layout promotes easy way-finding for patients because all patient services are located off the central corridor that serves the exam rooms around the perimeter. All materials and finishes are thoughtfully specified for the VA Clinic with cleanability, durability, and functionality in mind. The holistic design concept was inspired by the natural Arizona landscape. The interior takes cues from the exterior, utilizing neutral colors and organic textures to create a serene and comfortable space.
