This police station has a warm and inviting exterior aesthetic that is carried into the lobby, reception, offices, and interview rooms. On-duty squad members have access to a locker room, break room, and report room. Within the restricted access areas, is an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and an ICC 500 rated storm shelter. Off the four-bay garage is a secure evidence processing and storage area equipped with a dedicated ventilation system and seamless finishes to accommodate chemical or bio-hazard exposure. The design of this facility has designated areas for phased expansion to accommodate the department as it continues to grow. Due to material and labor shortages, the project’s schedule has increased by approximately ten weeks.
